This role focuses on understanding customer application requirements, recommending optimal antenna solutions, supporting product evaluations, and helping customers successfully integrate Mobile Mark products into their wireless systems.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong RF engineering knowledge with excellent communication skills and enjoys working directly with customers to solve challenging technical problems.\nResponsibilities:\nCustomer Technical Support\nServe as the primary technical resource for customers, distributors, and the sales team.\nUnderstand customer system requirements and recommend appropriate antenna solutions.\nSupport customers throughout product evaluation, design, testing, and deployment.\nTroubleshoot antenna performance and installation issues in collaboration with Engineering.\nProvide timely technical responses to customer inquiries.\nApplication Engineering\nAnalyze customer applications and recommend standard products or coordinate custom antenna solutions with Engineering.\nProvide guidance to customers with antenna placement, installation, grounding, cable selection, and RF performance optimization.\nSupport customer validation testing and provide technical recommendations.\nSales Support\nPartner with all geographic Sales Managers and distributors during customer visits.\nDeliver technical product demonstrations and application training.\nParticipate in customer design reviews and specification discussions.\nHelp identify opportunities for new products and emerging applications.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nAct as the technical liaison between customers and Mobile Mark Engineering.\nProvide customer feedback to Engineering and Product Management to influence future product development.\nCollaborate with Marketing to develop technical literature, application notes, white papers, and training materials.\nProduct & Market Expertise\nMaintain expert knowledge of Mobile Mark's antenna portfolio.\nStay current on wireless technologies including 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, GNSS, Public Safety, FirstNet, IoT, and Private LTE.\nMonitor competitive products and industry trends.\nAttend and support industry conferences and customer events.\nTravel: Travel to customer sites, distributor locations, trade shows, and Mobile Mark facilities as required (approximately 30–40%, including overnight travel).\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline.\nMinimum 5–10 years of experience in RF, wireless communications, antenna systems, or field applications engineering.\nWorking knowledge of antenna theory, RF propagation, cable loss, impedance matching, and wireless system design.\nExperience supporting customers in technical sales environments.\nExcellent presentation and communication skills.\nAbility to explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical audiences.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExperience using RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.) is preferred.\nWork Setting: Hybrid (Itasca, IL, US)\nCompensation: Estimated total compensation is $100,000–$140,000 annually, depending on experience, plus incentive opportunities.\nWhy Join Mobile Mark: At Mobile Mark, we're proud of our family-oriented culture—we work hard, collaborate across teams, and value innovation.
