You'll drive quality across the core Exchange, Clearing and Instrument management systems, extending the QA automation framework and building out comprehensive testing for high-performance trading infrastructure.What you'll doExtend and maintain a Java-based QA automation frameworkDesign and build manual and automated test cases for high-performance exchange and clearing platformsRigorously test all interfaces, including FIX protocol, proprietary binary formats and file formatsTest admin and customer-facing interfaces using Playwright and manual approaches, covering functionality, data integrity, security compliance and performancePartner with Product and Engineering to define and enforce rigorous quality standardsMonitor and report on system performance, data integrity and complianceWhat you'll bringEssential: hands-on experience testing FIX protocol messaging (FIX 4.2/4.4) in a trading, exchange, broker or clearing environmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field3+ years of QA / software testing experience, ideally in financial servicesStrong proficiency in Java, Python, FIX and SQLHands-on experience with Cucumber, Playwright and JUnitExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsExperience with derivatives or financial markets is a strong plusWhat's on offer$120,000 – $140,000 base salary plus discretionary annual bonus401(k) with employer matchHealth, dental and vision insurancePaid time off and career development supportFull-time, in-person hybrid role in Chicago.
