At ST Engineering MRAS, we are also rapidly augmenting our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities leveraging the company’s expanded aircraft nacelle portfolio as well as it’s materials and processing expertise.\n\nWhat YOU will do\n\nProduct & Manufacturing Development\n\nFabricate, assembly and evaluate prototype parts, tooling and manufacturing demonstrators\nOperate and support manufacturing equipment\nWork directly on the shop floor and in the lab to develop and refine manufacturing processes\nDesign, build and modify tooling, fixtures, jigs and assembly aids\nTroubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues\nPerform process trials and document findings and lessons learned\nDemonstrate ability to design for manufacturing and production readiness\n\nTooling & Process Development\n\nDevelop practical manufacturing solutions using available equipment, tooling and materials\nFabricate or support fabrication of tooling\nSupport equipment set up, qualification and process validation activities\nEvaluate new manufacturing technologies for future implementation\n\nProject & Supplier Management\n\nCoordinate R&D builds, material ordering, trials and schedules\nManage vendors, suppliers and external technology partners\nSupport team initiatives and resource planning\n\nWhat YOU must bring to Succeed\n\nMinimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field\nFamiliarity with CAD software such as NX, CATIA or equivalent\nDemonstrated interest in hands-on manufacturing or prototype development\nEffective communicator\n\nDesired Characteristics\n\nExperience operating or supporting manufacturing equipment\nExperience with machining, additive manufacturing, assembly or other relevant manufacturing processes\nExperience designing and building tooling, fixtures, jigs and production aids\nFamiliarity with composite fabrication processes\nAdaptable and proactive in finding solutions\nComfortable working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment\n\nAt ST Engineering, we offer great rewards, competitive pay, career advancement and growth opportunities.\n\nEstimate salary range for this role: $92,000 to $138,100 per year.
