American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Behavioral Health Intake Assessment Specialist position working night shifts on a 12-week travel contract in Highland Hills, OH.Job Details• Behavioral Health Intake unit in a psychiatric hospital setting,• 24-bed unit serving adult patients ages 18-99,• Common diagnoses include detox, depression, and psychosis,• Patient ratio of 1:4,• Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Friday through Sunday,• No on-call requirements,• 36 hours per week with weekend shifts required,Job Requirements• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand,• Current AHA BLS certification required,• Handle With Care (HWC) certification required,• Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required,• Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to mental health as a medical illness,• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration,Additional Information• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays,• Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months,• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment,• Ideal candidates are compassionate, unbothered by challenging patient interactions, and proactive during slower periods,• Scrubs should be navy blue or business casual attire; hoodies are not permitted
