Works with clients to ensure appropriate governance is applied to each project based on the scope and offering.\r\nThe SPM is the client's first line of contact once a project has started and as such, they are the focal point of all communications to the client and the Mainframe Division, including Technical Consulting, Engineering, and Support or Development. Successful project delivery is the key performance metric for this role.\r\nWork Experience: 8+ years project management experience preferably in an IT environment\r\nExperience managing Mainframe and/or Open Systems Software projects in a fast-paced environment\r\nDemonstrated mastery of at least 8 years IT project management experience using standard Work Breakdown Structures, Project Plans, Risk & Issue Management, Project Governance, experience applying PMI or similar project methodologies to projects and programs\r\nProven knowledge of Project Management methodologies / preferably has PMP Certification or equivalent experience. Agile frameworks related experience is a plus\r\nProven organizational and planning skills\r\nProven track record of delivering large or complex projects/programs on time and in budget\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\r\nStrong organizational skills; works well under pressure and with minimal supervision\r\nAbility to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines\r\nAbility to effectively drive execution and own responsibility for overall success of projects\r\nStrong analytical and creative problem-solving skills\r\nTechnical proficiency and customer-facing skills\r\nGenerally works without consulting their manager\r\nAbility to make decisions independently and respond to client questions such as scope, staffing, invoicing, resource allocations and staffing requirements\r\nTypically has a geographic focus of North America\r\nBusiness travel of up to 25 percent yearly may be required\r\nExperience: Bachelor's and 8+ years of related experience required\r\nCertification: PMP Certification or equivalent experience is preferred.\r\nCompensation and Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is USD 100,000.00 To USD 160,000.00\r\nAs a valued member of our team, you'll be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and the opportunity to receive not only a competitive new hire equity grant, but also annual equity awards, connecting your success directly to the company's growth.
