Content and Communications Coordinator
The Content and Communications Coordinator role supports ORU Online's marketing, communications, and enrollment growth initiatives through digital campaigns, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration.RESPONSIBILITIESEmail Marketing & Campaign ExecutionDevelop and execute email campaigns and nurture workflows supporting ORU Online recruitment and enrollmentWrite compelling, conversion-focused email copyDesign and format emails within marketing automation platformsSegment audiences and support automated campaign flowsAssist with A/B testing and analyze performance metricsSMS Marketing & CommunicationsDevelop and deploy SMS campaigns aligned with ORU Online marketing initiativesSegment audiences and manage opt-in/opt-out processesEnsure compliance with SMS marketing regulations and industry best practicesSocial Media Content Creation & ManagementDevelop and manage a monthly social media content calendarCreate graphics, captions, and short-form video contentSchedule and publish content across key platformsMonitor engagement and support community management effortsTrack and report on performance metricsDigital Advertising & Graphic DesignDesign digital ad creatives for Meta, DSPs, and other paid channelsDevelop visual assets for email, social media, web, and printEnsure all creative aligns with brand standards and campaign messagingSupport A/B testing of creative assets to optimize performanceWebsite & Content ManagementUpdate and maintain the ORU Online program pages within the CMSSupport landing page development for new program launchesImplement messaging updates, calls-to-action, and content enhancementsAssist with SEO formatting and on-page optimizationCross-Functional Collaboration & Special ProjectsCollaborate with internal departments to support integrated marketing and enrollment initiatives for ORU OnlineParticipate in cross-functional projects to align messaging, campaigns, and timelinesSupport special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned, based on departmental priorities and business needsMaintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive institutional, student, and operational informationOther duties as assignedREQUIREMENTSEDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldEXPERIENCE:1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creationStrong writing and editing skillsExperience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design toolsFamiliarity with email marketing platformsUnderstanding of social media best practices and engagement strategiesAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectivelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsSKILLS/ABILITIES:Strong copywriting skills with a focus on conversionCreative eye for design and visual storytellingAbility to translate strategy into clear, actionable campaign assetsUnderstanding of digital marketing funnels and the customer journeyData-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metricsAbility to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environmentStrong project and time management skillsProactive, self-starter with a high level of accountabilityCollaborative team player with strong communication skillsAdaptable and quick to learn new platforms and toolsEqual Employment Opportunity:Oral Roberts University promotes equal employment opportunities for all individuals regardless of differences in race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
