Job Summary Perform wide variety of activities associated with onsite installation of telecommunication infrastructure. Relies on general instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.Complete tasks required for end-to-end system installation and testing.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesComplete tasks required for end-to-end system installation and testing. Duties and responsibilities will vary based on project type, scope, duration, and manpower assignments. Specific duties and responsibilities will also be dictated by the individual's level of knowledge and experience.Tasks and duties as assigned by higher level Technicians, Lead Technicians or Site Manager.Promotes AllCom's Core Values of Honesty, Integrity, Quality and Performance. Job Knowledge and Skills Experience with commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in the construction and/or telecommunications installation fieldExperience with installation practices within telecom/data center environment, including but not limited to for following:Installation of raised floor systemsInstallation of server cabinets and open racksInstallation of ladder racks, fiber troughs and associated ancillary materialClear understanding of proper lacing techniquesAbility to complete tasks completely and thoroughly with supervisionAbility to stoop, kneel or crouchMust be able to climb ladders up to 25 feet and work on lifts up-to 40 feetMust be able to lift or carry loads up to 50 pounds Education / Certification High school diploma or its equivalent3-4 years of telecommunication infrastructure installation experience requiredMust be able to pass pre-employment testing (drug and background) and have a valid drivers license
