This position requires a person that is familiar with multiple manufacturing methods and has the ability to comprehend and account for all steps involved in a process.\nWe are seeking 1 estimating position for our growing business.\nRequirements:\nResponsibilities\nReview all incoming quote requests and provide quotations in a timely manner\nDeveloping process plan to produce products in a cost effective manner that includes set up time, run time, and expected yield.\nDetermine materials required and vendor selection for raw materials and OEM parts.\nDetermine appropriate lead time based on requirements and company guidelines.\nParticipate weekly in NPI process with a cross functional team\nEstablish machining/welding/assembly process plans that align with capabilities of the facility\nDetermine profitability (Analyze expected profitability on quotes and actual profitability on existing jobs)\nExperience & Skills\n5 years’ experience with planning or estimating machined components for semiconductor and aerospace ·(travelers/MOTs for Plastics/Common Metals/Specialty metal)\nExperience in standardized MRP/ERP system (Jobboss).\n5 years’ experience with Solidworks/Mastercam (Cad/Cam) machining/programming.\nKnowledge of plastics and how they react to processing (machining/fabrication/welding)\nProven experience with interpretation of customer drawings & specifications (Aerospace & Semiconductor)\nExperience negotiating best pricing with suppliers\nExcellent understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5\nAdvanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access\nThe ability to communicate clearly, concisely and concretely in writing in a professional settings.\nPhysical Requirements\nStanding: This is an essential job function/physical requirement.\nWalking: This is an essential job function/physical requirement.\nTurning, twisting, bending, and stooping-These physical requirements are essential job functions.\nPushing and Pulling- These physical requirements are essential job functions.\nReaching, forward, and overhead are essential job functions /physical requirements.\nLifting - employees must lift 25 pounds and occasionally 50-75 pounds.\nBenefits:\nQuarterly Bonus\n401(k) matching at 90 day vested 100%\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nVision insurance\nLife Insurance, STD, LTD\nForesight Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
