Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline required.\nMaster's degree preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.\n\nExperience\n10+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise data platforms and data engineering solutions.\n8+ years of experience implementing cloud-based data and analytics solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS).\n5+ years of experience leading technical teams and large-scale enterprise data initiatives.\nExperience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or regulated industries preferred.\nDemonstrated experience leading geographically distributed teams and global technology programs.\n\nTechnical Expertise\nData Engineering & Cloud Platforms\nDeep expertise with AWS data and analytics services including Databricks, S3, Athena, Glue, EMR, Lambda, RDS, EC2, DynamoDB, Redshift, and Kinesis.\nExtensive experience implementing modern Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Mesh architectures.\nStrong understanding of data integration patterns, ETL/ELT frameworks, streaming architectures, event-driven design, and distributed computing.\nDatabricks & AI Platforms\nDeep expertise with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, including:\nDatabricks Lakehouse Architecture\nUnity Catalog\nDelta Lake\nDatabricks Workflows\nDatabricks SQL\nApache Spark\nAI/ML and GenAI Capabilities\nModel Lifecycle Management\nEnterprise Data Governance\nExperience supporting AI and machine learning platforms
