You will partner with Accounting and Finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong cash management, and audit readiness.\nKey Job Responsibilities:\nStrategic Leadership & Transformation\nLead the evolution of the AP function into a best-in-class, highly automated operation\nAssess and evolve team structure and capabilities to align with a more automated, analytics-driven AP function\nDrive AP transformation initiatives across US, Brazil, and Spain teams (including acquired entities)\nPartner with leadership and third-party consultants to evaluate and redesign transactional service models\nProcess Optimization & Automation\nOwn optimization and stabilization of Medius implementation, ensuring maximum ROI\nDrive adoption of AI tools and automation to increase touchless invoice processing\nDrive measurable improvements in automation adoption (e.g., touchless invoice rate, exception reduction) leveraging Medius and AI tools\nIdentify inefficiencies and redesign workflows toward exception-based processing\nLead GR/IR cleanup strategy and ongoing governance to improve financial accuracy and visibility\nDrive vendor adoption of e-invoicing and digital processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual processing\nData, Analytics & KPIs\nDesign and implement AP KPIs and dashboards (cycle time, touchless rate, cost per invoice, exception rates)\nEstablish consistent reporting cadence with actionable insights to Finance leadership\nUse analytics to proactively identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities\nEnsure KPIs are aligned to enterprise goals including working capital optimization and operational efficiency\nTeam Leadership & Talent Development\nBuild and develop a high-performing AP organization with strong analytical and process improvement capabilities\nUpgrade team skill sets to align with automation, AI, and advanced analytics needs\nFoster accountability, proactive communication, and continuous improvement mindset\nProvide regular, structured, and transparent communication to Finance leadership\nGlobal Alignment & Integration\nStandardize AP processes across all regions and acquired entities\nAlign policies, systems usage, and performance metrics globally\nSupport integration of new business units into the AP operating model\nControls, Compliance & SOX Governance\nEnsure adherence to SOX controls and maintain strong internal control environment across AP processes\nDesign, document, and enforce standardized AP controls, including segregation of duties, approval workflows, and payment controls\nPartner with Internal Audit to support SOX audits, walkthroughs, and control testing\nProactively identify control gaps and lead remediation efforts\nEnsure compliance with company policies and global regulatory requirements\nEstablish governance over vendor master data, banking changes, and fraud prevention measures\nMonth-End Close & Financial Operations\nOversee AP-related month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness\nEnsure proper accruals for goods/services received but not invoiced (GR/IR)\nReview and validate AP balances, reconciliations, and aging reports\nOwn resolution of AP-related discrepancies in partnership with Accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting\nDrive continuous improvement in close timelines and accuracy through automation and process discipline\nProvide insights and analysis related to AP activity impacting financial statements\nQualifications:\n7+ years of experience in AP or shared services, with significant leadership experience\nProven experience in AP transformation, automation, or shared services optimization\nStrong understanding of SOX compliance and internal control frameworks\nExperience with AP automation tools (Medius or similar required)\nExperience with AI tools, process mining, or advanced analytics preferred\nExperience working across global teams and multiple regions\nStrong leadership, change management, and influencing skills\nPreferred qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\nExperience supporting external audits and public company reporting cycles\nTrack record of implementing automation or system transformations\nExperience operating in a global or multi-entity environment\nSuccess Metrics:\n% of touchless invoice processing\nReduction in cost per invoice\nImprovement in GR/IR aging and accuracy\nKPI adoption and reporting effectiveness\nMonth-end close timeliness and accuracy\nSOX compliance effectiveness and audit results\nProcess cycle time reductions\nTeam capability uplift (analytics, automation adoption)\nStakeholder satisfaction and communication effectiveness\n\nAt Array Tech, Inc., we strive to lead with our culture, and believe that our people are a key enabler of our future state.
