We are currently seeking a Stocking Associate Napa facility.\n40-hours per week, day shift, must be available to work Saturdays.\nThe Stocking Associate ensures that the store is stocked and ready for business every day by moving product from receiving to the appropriate sales area with correct pricing label and/or appropriate signage.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nStocks products onto shelves for customer availability.\nEnsures that all merchandise is in the correct location, with accurate pricing and labels.\nUnloads products using designated equipment in a safe manner, i.e., proper lifting.\nMaintains cleanliness and organization of store ensuring customer and employee safety.\nAcknowledges and greets customers.\nResponds to customer inquiries and directs questions to appropriate department.\nMaintains current knowledge of company products and their locations in the store/yard.\nObserves store areas for safety, potential theft and security risks.\nPerforms other duties as required, i.e., assists floor sales, cashiering, receiving, and assembles products for customer pick-up and/or delivery.\nRequirements:\nKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:\nExcellent customer service skills\nOrganized with attention to detail\nProficient computer skills\nTime management\nStocking in a retail environment highly desired\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nSitting: Never\nWalking: Constantly (6–8+ hours per day)\nStanding: Constantly (6–8+ hours per day)\nBending/Twisting: Frequently (3–6 hours per day)\nSquatting/Stooping: Frequently (3–6 hours per day)\nClimbing: Occasionally (up to 3 hours per day)\nKneeling/Crawling: Frequently (3–6 hours per day)\nPushing/Pulling: Frequently (3–6 hours per day)\nHand Dexterity: Constantly (6–8+ hours per day)\nLifting 0–25 lbs.: Constantly (6–8+ hours per day)\nLifting 26–60 lbs.: Occasionally (up to 3 hours per day)\nCarrying 0–25 lbs.: Constantly (6–8+ hours per day)\nCarrying 26–60 lbs.: Occasionally (up to 3 hours per day)\nCentral Valley is an equal opportunity employer.
