The Middleware Integration Developer will be responsible for partnering with internal and external SAP & Oracle SOA counterparts to design, configure, develop, test, document, and support integrations between enterprise technology solutions and other third-party systems while implementing best-practices and optimizing existing integrations. We are currently using Oracle SOA 12c for our Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Framework and SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration (PI/PO) and Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).\nWhat does a Middleware Integration Developer do?\nPerforms system analysis, design, configuration, and production support activities using Oracle’s SOA system\nSupports all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including analysis, design, development, testing and implementation along with the generation of required documentation throughout each phase of the project\nCollaborates with business users, project team members and other technical staff to develop, implement and execute upon the requirements of project scope or business requests through complex Oracle SOA programming, testing, documentation and debugging functions related to the implementation of middleware integrations\nPerforms and assists with integration development using our SOA Enterprise Suite tools including designing, configuring, developing, and testing business process integrations\nWorks collaboratively with internal and external Oracle SOA counterparts for periodic review of integration enterprise roadmap for prioritization\nRegularly communicates with business users and functional teams to understand the requirements from provided functional designs or business requirements/use cases and transforms them into technical designs\nBuilds professional relationships with management, business representatives, and team members to ensure delivery of proposed solutions, support for development of business possibilities and professional development\nParticipates in troubleshooting incidents reported to IT and assists in identifying root cause of issues\nPromotes re-use, mobility, flexibility, scalability, and reliability; best-practice implementation throughout architecture and solution\nActively participates in industry communities to continuously expand upon knowledge and improve the standards and awareness of the company’s SAP practices\nResponds to requests to work outside of normal work hours at times and completes on-call rotation\nProvides support during storm restoration efforts\nWhat does it take to be a Middleware Integration Developer?\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, STEM or related field of study.
