SEL develops critical products that provide the main interface for protecting, controlling, monitoring, and analyzing the power grid.\nThe ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer in Pullman, WA. If you are a current student looking for an opportunity to develop your mechanical engineering skills, learn from world class engineers, and enhance your academic learning, then this may be the position for you!\nMechanical Engineer Intern - Typical Day Design, document, and 3D-print simple mechanical tools and fixtures.\nDesign simple, custom, table-top automation equipment.\nUpdate SolidWorks models and drawings.\nData entry of technical information into company databases (MS Access, Lotus Notes, SolidWorks).\nFollow mechanical development and quality assurance procedures.\nQualifications Are currently in pursuit of BS or MS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with one to two years engineering education completed.\nPossess strong problem-solving skills.\nHave working knowledge of MS Office Applications or equivalent.\nHave one year SolidWorks Experience (or equivalent CAD software).\nHave strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.\nCan learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.\nCan work cooperatively in a team environment.\nHave background check results satisfactory to SEL.\nHave negative drug test result(s).\nPreferred Qualifications Experience filing engineering documentation.\nFinite element analysis experience a plus.\nLocation Information - Pullman, Washington SEL's corporate office is located in Eastern Washington where you'll enjoy an unmatched quality of life.
