Top Reasons Why You Want to Work for Radix as a Corporate Information Technology Manager Small Company Culture Relaxed Flexible Work Environment Competitive Wages: This position pays between $119,000 - $166,000 Medical, Dental, & Vision Premiums 100% Employer Funded Short-Term, Long-Term Disability, & Life Premiums 100% Employer Funded Company Funded Retirement plan of up to 25% of Base Salary 6 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) Professional Development and Educational Benefits Job Overview The Corporate Information Technology (IT) Manager is responsible for the successful execution of Radix Metasystems’ internal IT infrastructure to include the long-term IT strategy, daily operations, and management of corporate IT staff. As a small company, the IT Manager is expected to have broad IT knowledge and provide Tier I-III operational support as necessary. Job Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Planning Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Radix’s IT infrastructure Prepare and implement Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Plans Support the corporate IT at additional security levels and/or expansion of existing systems to additional facilities Capture and monitor equipment lifecycle data, planning for upgrades and recapitalization Identify skills and generate staffing forecasts that align with corporate growth Establish and manage the IT budget Work in tandem with the corporate Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) and Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to proactively implement cybersecurity controls and ensure compliance with standards such as NIST 800-171 and CMMC Basic Operations Perform capacity planning, ensure network security, oversee hardware and software procurement and upgrades, and monitor system performance Establish service level agreements (SLAs) and manage vendor relationships Manage network systems, servers, storage, and related components Handle incident response to minimize disruptions and maintain high levels of service availability Execute system and network patching, hardening and adherence of security controls Proactively mitigate security risks, ensuring any discovered issues or vulnerabilities are promptly addressed Create and maintain user policies, update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other process documents Perform data backups and recoveries End User Support Execute employee onboarding and out-processing, system patching, and troubleshooting Oversee Help Desk functions to ensure seamless user support and compliance Communicate system patching, outages, and availability updates Enable the hosting and deployment of software applications, web-services and other desktop and server-based tools Provide direct Tier I-III support as necessary Management Recruit, train and manage corporate IT staff; provide mentorship and coaching Create job requisitions for future Corporate IT roles, identifying appropriate skills and skill levels Articulate staffing needs to include training needs, performance issues, and growth projections of corporate IT staff Deconflict vacations and personal obligations to ensure availability of IT staff during core business hours Communicate needs across company and departments as needed; remain apprised of Radix Network Engineering, System Administration and other IT professionals allocated to customer programs that can be leveraged to support corporate IT needs as necessary Promote and continuously reinforce Radix Culture and Core Values With the support of Radix Networking SMEs, maintain firewall, VPN, network switches, and network access points Communicate across company and departments as needed Requirements Required Skills and Attributes Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (required) Demonstrated IT Helpdesk leadership and strategic planning experience Sound understanding of computer systems, networks, security, and file systems Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with leadership and teams across the entire organization Excellent leadership and decision-making skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where the toolset is continuously evolving Ability to work independently to manage and prioritize tasks and projects Solid working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Team-oriented Service Organization Attitude A solutions-driven attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions Exceptionally trustworthy and discrete with confidential information Required Education and Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 10+ Years of experience with IT end-user and system administration (e.g. Networks, System, Firewall, and software) support in an enterprise role Security+ certification (minimum) CISSP certification (desired) Benefits Benefits are described under the Job Description Radix Metasystems, Inc. is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, considering qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, or any other protected class.
