Restaurant Prep Cooks/Bakers - Student Workers

Our upscale restaurant is currently seeking positive, hardworking individuals to join our team! This is a plant-based, mostly gluten-free dining experience in Baton Rouge, LA. We will be open for breakfast and lunch shifts during the week, as well as Friday night happy hour, and Sunday high tea. Positions for back of house staff include bakers and our prep/cooking lineup. No previous training or experience necessary. The successful candidates must be able to take direction well and be able to multi-task effectively. We're looking for people who are eager to grow with us and have a strong work ethic. We accommodate school schedules and variable or seasonal hours, as well. We prefer high school and college students, or those with high volume experience! Must be quick-paced. Responsibilities: Deliver food orders quickly and accurately. Remain calm, polite, and focused during rush times. Arrive early to all shifts to ensure on-time starting. Adhere to deadlines by being self-aware of time management for baking and cooking- while maintaining cleanliness. Communicate professionally, directly, concisely, and respectfully while bringing an uplifting and fun attitude to the atmosphere. Demonstrate reliability through consistent performance and adherence to all scheduled shifts without call-outs. Proactively provide feedback on kitchen processes to improve the workflow.
