The Dispatcher oversees road service through communication with Operators and provides customer support to the clients. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.\nNon-CBA Position:\n$26.00 to $28.00 hr.\nBenefits include:\nMedical, Dental & Vision\n401K\nPTO /Vacation (after 1 year of employment)\nBenefits may vary depending on location policy. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEnsure the dispatching boards are correct and keep them updated.\nAssign trips as necessary to minimize deadhead miles/time and maximize efficiency while ensuring timely pickups.\nView and edit trips, using correct vehicles and drivers.\nBe able to geographically locate drives at all times.\nReassign trips as necessary to accommodate maintenance and trip demands.\nEnsure timely performance of all trips by monitoring driver routes periodically.\nEnsure proper radio and 10-codes used.\nDocument all drivers call outs, including early and late starts, and early and late finish.\nDrive when needed to cover a route or bringing buses to dealers, etc.\nAssist drivers and notify proper authorities in event of an accident.\nInform maintenance department of any road service calls\nOther assigned duties.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED (Some college preferred)\nCDL Required\n3-5 years' experience dispatching.\nExcellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.\nProblem solving and analytical skills.\nSubject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
