Engineer Level II","description":"Purpose\nYou will provide process engineering services and leadership projects to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the process engineering team.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nExecutes defined scope independently with limited supervision.\n\nDemonstrates solid capability in relief and process safety fundamentals.\n\nPerform overpressure protection evaluations across process units, including identification of credible scenarios and relief loads.\n\nExecute PSV sizing, relief hydraulics, and flare/vent system analysis interactions.\n\nKeep up to date with the latest developments and technical innovations in process engineering.\n\nIf required, assist, and support junior personnel within the process engineering team.\n\nCommunicate effectively with the process engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.\n\nIdentify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.\n\nQualifications\n\nExpertise in Relief & Flare System Design, Overpressure Risk Analysis & Mitigation, and Process Hazard Analysis.\n\nHighly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.\n\nExcellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the process engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.\n\nExcellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.\n\nCompetent use of process engineering specific software.\n\nCompetent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.\n\nSubstantial technical land practical experience in process engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi‑disciplinary projects and teams.\n\nStrong and positive people leadership.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of process simulation packages such as HYSYS and/or PRO/II, iPRSM, PSPPM, Flare Network Analyzer and Computational Fluid Dynamics.\n\n5+ years of relevant process engineering experience, with demonstrated exposure to pressure relief and process safety systems.\n\nWorking knowledge of relief system design standards and codes (e.g., API 520/521/2000, ASME).\n\nExperience performing PSV sizing, relief load calculations, and basic flare system evaluations.\n\nFamiliarity with process simulation and relief analysis tools (e.g., HYSYS, PRO/II, Aspen Plus, or equivalent; relief tools such as IPRSM, Aspen PIMS/PSPPM/Flare or similar).\n\nExperience supporting HAZOPs, risk assessments, or process safety reviews.\n\nAbility to develop and review core process deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, line lists, calculations, datasheets).\n\nStrong understanding of process fundamentals (thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer) applied to safe plant design.\n\nEffective communication skills with the ability to coordinate across disciplines and interface with clients.\n\nEducation & Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree or master’s degree (preferred) in chemical engineer or related field and or equivalent degree.\n\nPreferred\n\nExperience in refining, petrochemical, or upstream facilities with complex relief systems.\n\nExposure to flare network modeling and backpressure analysis.\n\nFamiliarity with corporate or operator PRD programs and compliance frameworks.\n\nEIT certification or progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) license.\n\nExperience with brownfield modifications, MOC processes, or
