We are seeking a Content Developer Intern to join our team to develop educational curriculum for career and technical education classrooms across the nation.Duties & Responsibilities:Format lesson plan materials, such as projects, activities, student handouts, etc. to meet the iCEV curriculum formatWrite educational video scripts and slide presentations to meet state/national educational and industry standards, align to iCEV's curriculum framework, and to appeal to learners in a variety of settingsCreate assessment questions based on written scripts and slide presentationsWork with graphic designers and product team to develop captivating graphic ideas for slide presentationsCollaborate with management to set deadlines for work and deliverablesRequired Skills & Abilities:Excellent research and writing skillsAbility to write for a variety of audiences, including high school students, teachers, collaborators, and co-workersPassion for education with the ability to grasp and effectively communicate difficult conceptsProficient in grammar, spelling, punctuation and other written English skillsAbility to positively receive and respond to constructive feedback to improve the quality of workMust be able to work effectively both as part of a team and independentlyMust enjoy a work environment requiring flexibility, self-direction, creativity, strong communication and organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPointEducation & Experience:Experience with Microsoft Suite preferredFamiliar with Adobe Creative Suite preferredPhysical Requirements:Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and graphically-mindedExperience with tutoring or teachingAn Equal Opportunity EmployerWe do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, genetic information, or any other status protected by law or regulation.
