{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"dca73a8fcbba9ca08e2330cd","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dca73a8fcbba9ca08e2330cd","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/dca73a8fcbba9ca08e2330cd","title":"Assembler - 1st Shift","description":"Assembler\n\nSUMMARY\n\nInstalls parts on and in cabs by performing the following duties.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nAttends the job during the scheduled work hours.\n\nSets up area by stocking parts bins and parts shelves with parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled using summarized bills of material.\n\nFastens parts together with bolts, screws, rivets, or other fasteners as required.\n\nInstalls windows, mirrors, wire harness, wipers, inside panels, lights, and other necessary components per assembly drawing using pneumatic as well as hand tools.\n\nPerforms inspection to assure paint and cab meets quality standards, electrical systems work correctly, the cab does not leak, and to assure all parts are installed and installed correctly.\n\nAssures deficiencies are corrected as needed.\n\nCompletes and forwards required paperwork.\n\nMoves completed cab to the end of the assembly line.\n\nNONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n“Other duties may be assigned”\n\nQUALIFICATIONS – KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, & ABILITIY\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
