You'll manage a dedicated portfolio of agricultural, rural business and property clients, overseeing accounts and tax work and supporting the development of junior team members.\r\nThe Role\r\nAs Client Manager, you'll act as the main point of contact for a varied portfolio of agriculture and property clients, including farming businesses, rural enterprises, landlords and property investors.\r\nKey responsibilities include\r\nManaging your own portfolio of agriculture and property clients, providing day-to-day accounting and tax support\r\nReviewing year-end statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns prepared by the team\r\nAdvising on sector-specific matters such as farm accounts, diversified income streams, land and property ownership, capital allowances, VAT and capital taxes\r\nBuilding strong, long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser\r\nSupervising, mentoring and reviewing work of junior and part-qualified team members\r\nManaging workflow and deadlines across your portfolio, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard\r\nAssisting with proposals, new client onboarding and ad hoc advisory projects\r\nIdentifying opportunities to add value, improve processes and support practice growth\r\nContributing to team training, knowledge sharing and internal improvements\r\nThis is a hands-on role with a strong mix of technical delivery, sector-focused advisory and people management.\r\nAbout You\r\nYou'll be a commercially aware accounting professional with strong practice experience and a genuine interest in the agriculture and/or property sectors.\r\nYou will be\r\nBe ACA or ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience)\r\nHave solid experience in a UK accountancy practice\r\nIdeally have experience working with farming, rural or property clients (or a strong interest in developing this)\r\nBe confident reviewing accounts, tax returns and supporting schedules\r\nUnderstand, or be keen to deepen your knowledge of, sector-specific issues such as farm accounting, land and property structures and related tax considerations\r\nPossess excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients\r\nBe proactive and commercially minded, able to spot planning opportunities and suggest practical solutions\r\nHave experience supporting and developing junior colleagues\r\nBe
