The position also supports flexibility across the production process through cross-training and collaboration between multiple workstations and functions.\n\n*Key Responsibilities:*\n\nAssemble components accurately and efficiently in accordance with detailed work instructions, drawings, and specifications\nPerform basic packaging operations, including bundling, wrapping, heat sealing, vacuum sealing, labeling, counting, visual inspection, assembly, and cleaning activities\nCross-train and rotate between multiple workstations to support production requirements and operational efficiency\nCommunicate and collaborate effectively with Supervisors, Production Leads, and team members to support departmental goals\nVerify the accuracy of parts and materials before beginning assembly operations\nRemove defective materials and promptly report part, tooling, or equipment issues to supervision\nFollow all established safety standards, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements\nPerform work in a Class 7 clean room environment while adhering to all gowning and contamination control requirements\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with established safety standards and expectations\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor\n\n*Qualifications*\n\n*Required:*\n\nHigh school diploma or GED required; 0–2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nAbility to identify and resolve routine problems involving a limited number of variables in standardized situations\nAbility to inspect, sort, and compare products to verify accuracy and quality standards\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate counting and verification tasks\nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals\nAbility to inspect parts and finished products to ensure compliance with established quality standards\nAbility to safely handle cleaning agents, including alcohol-based solvents, in accordance with established procedures\nSelf-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and achieve results in a fast-paced environment\n\n*Preferred:*\n\nPrevious experience working in a clean room environment\nExperience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments\nExperience performing quality inspections in a manufacturing environment\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S practices\nStrong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills\n\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements:\n\nFrequent use of hands for handling small components and tools\nAbility to perform similar operations and tasks for 6-8 hours\nAbility to sit and stand for 6 to 8 hours\nAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally\nAbility to perform visual inspection to perform close-up inspection tasks for 4 to 6 hours\nWork performed indoors in environmentally controlled and cleanroom environments\nRequired use of PPE including smocks, gloves, hairnets/full face covers, shoe covers, and safety-toed footwear\n\nAdditional Information:\n\nThis position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
