Manifests.\nEssential Job Functions\n· Operation of forklift and/or pallet jack in a safe, efficient and precise manner\n· Pre-op inspection of forklift and completion of inspection report and report issues to supervision\n· Visually inspect trailers for cleanliness and/or damage before loading product\n· Load product on trucks with correct configuration and weight distribution\no Utilize scan guns to load products by commodity, size, and quantity\n· Read, understand, and execute Loading Manifests and Bill of Ladings\n· Effectively communicate with supervision\n· Manually stack and re-stack cartons\n· Operate machinery and equipment including, but not limited to scan guns, forklifts, forced air tunnels, dock plates, truck restraints, dock levelers, blue tooth probes, etc.\n· Maintain high levels of productivity\n· Follow verbal and written instructions from supervision\n· Awareness of all safety aspects and dangers of machinery\nRequirements\nComplete & pass company forklift certification test\nBasic math skills (add, subtract, multiply & divide)\nWork in a fast-paced team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude\nPreferred Requirements\n1 year of forklift driving and loading experience\nOther Job Functions\n· Understand and follow all company rules and regulations, including but not limited to:\no Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)\no D’Arrigo Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)\no Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP)\no Driscoll Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)\no Attendance, Work and Safety Rules\no Food Safety and Hygiene
