Driver & Floater

Overview We are seeking a reliable and responsible Driver / Floater to join our daycare team. This is a part-time position (approximately 25 hours per week) with the possibility of transitioning to full-time during or after the probation period. This role involves transporting children, assisting in the kitchen, and supporting classrooms as needed. Duties Safely operate a 15-seater van to transport children to and from school/activities Ensure the safety of all children during transportation, following traffic laws and safety guidelines Assist in the kitchen with serving and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment Support classrooms as a floater by helping teachers with activities, supervision, and transitions Maintain open communication with staff and management to ensure smooth daily operations Perform food prep tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment Requirements Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required) Previous experience driving children or groups preferred Ability to work safely and responsibly under pressure Willingness to assist in the kitchen and classrooms as needed Positive attitude, reliability, and flexibility are a must Must pass background check and meet state childcare requirements Job Types Early Morning Shift (6:30 am ~ 9:30am) Benefits Professional development assistance Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Expected hours: No less than 25 per week Benefits: Paid time off Paid training Work Location: In person
