You'll become a SME in Reg YY after spending significant time learning Reg YY and other related reporting regulations (i.e., FR 2052a, FR Y-14, FR Y-15, etc.). You'll also collaborate with a team dedicated to developing, testing, and executing data for LFI readiness. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for working with data.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelopment of business requirements is specifically required to support LFI readiness as required by FRB regulations for a Category IV institution.\nProvide input into Technology's deliverables to ensure the Technology's implementation success.\nPerform UAT test (User Acceptance Testing) to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.\nManage and participate in workshops to flesh out and problem-solve certain requirements, defects, or questions.\nUnderstand Client's FR 2052a, FR Y-14, and FR Y-15 rules and to reflect changes in the business requirements documents.\nEnsure accuracy and timeliness of all reports delivered to internal stakeholders.\nRegularly update and optimize existing reporting processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and relevance if needed.\nPerform analysis on datasets to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.\nEnsure data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and regular quality checks.\nPartner with teams across the business gather data requirements and understand their analytical needs.\nAbility to use SQL tool for querying and analyzing data\nMaintain documentation of data sourcing processes and methodologies.\nDevelop data visualizations to communicate key metrics and insights effectively.\nQualifications :\nDegree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Technology, or another related field.\n3 years of experience in data analysis, or a similar role.\n2 year experience working with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and be proficient in handling and interpreting large datasets.\nExperience with project management and managing multiple priorities and deliverables.\nDemonstrate a willingness to learning applicable regulatory regulations with significant effort learning Reg YY (e.g. FR 2052a, FR Y-14, FR Y-15).\nIntermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.\nIntermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.\nAbility to collaborate effectively within a team environment.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nIntermediate to advanced written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbout Software Resources\nSoftware Resources, founded more than 3 decades ago, is a trusted staffing partner specializing in Technology (IT, Creative, & Marketing), Finance, & Accounting placements.
