After School Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma required. Must pass background check and pre-employment physical. Experience with children preferred. AVAILABILITY: MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY from 3:00PM- 5:30PM (with the addition of more hours if available) during the Rootstown Local School's 24’-25’ school year. Training can begin immediately based on applicant's availability. Summer employment available, but not required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Working with Children PreK-5th graders in the after school program located with Community Bible Church. Professionalism, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task a must. Managing a group of up to 12 students on your own, completing training in child development, interacting with parents and school faculty, adapting to the behavioral and educational needs of children, applying conflict management within children, marketing the program, etc. RATE OF PAY: $11.25-$13.25/hr (depending on education and experience) Job Type: Part-time Pay: $11.25 - $13.25 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday No nights No weekends Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: First Aid Certification (Preferred) CPR Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
