Senior Manager, Treasury – Banking Relations Operations (Hybrid | Northern NJ)A well-established, highly stable financial institution is seeking a Senior Manager of Treasury to lead its Banking Relations Operations function. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing critical treasury infrastructure, bank relationships, and operational workflows supporting multiple business units.This individual will play a key role in modernizing treasury operations, enhancing reporting and controls, and driving process improvements across a complex, multi-entity environment.What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and develop a Banking Relations / Treasury Operations team, driving performance, prioritization, and professional growth
Oversee bank account lifecycle management (open/close/maintenance) across internal and external accounts
Manage treasury systems and configurations (treasury workstation, GL integrations, account repositories)
Own bank fee analysis and reporting, including monthly review, variance analysis, and issue resolution with banking partners
Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Legal, Risk, Tax, Technology, and Treasury teams to support daily operations and strategic initiatives
Ensure accurate and timely regulatory and internal reporting
Evaluate end-to-end workflows, identify gaps, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
Maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls; support audit processes and remediation efforts
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and present updates to senior leadership
What They’re Looking For
6+ years of experience in treasury, banking operations, or corporate finance
5+ years of team leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of cash management products (ACH, wires, lockbox, ZBA, etc.)
Experience with treasury workstations and GL systems (FIS Quantum, PeopleSoft, or similar a plus)
Solid understanding of banking regulations and compliance (AML exposure preferred)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
