The National Practice Manager should act as a strategic advocate, thought leader, and catalyst for both their designated vendor and other practices, fostering collaboration across internal teams and external partners.\n\nYOUR IMPACT\nThe essential functions of this position include:\n\nPractice Development\nDrive vendor and ePlus engagement across the ePlus operating footprint\nIdentify and cultivate an internal team to reliably deliver sales and gross-margin results\nMaximize both front-end margin and back-end profits\nManage vendor marketing efforts to create new business and harvest new accounts and gross margin dollars from addressable\nSales enablement: provide marketing campaigns, data sheets, technology presentations\nProposals: reference designs, vendor and ePlus differentiators, SOW templates, etc.\nDelivery: Campaign management, field vendor engagement, executive communications, etc.\nDevelop plans with individual region management teams (SVPs, RVPs, Sales Directors) and manage both ePlus and vendor teams to facilitate successful marketing and sales & service efforts for vendors in each region\nDefine market segments, product positioning, competitors, and go-to market strategy strategies\nAssess customer pain points and market demand to help define compelling services offerings packaged as a product\nWork alongside partner marketing to coordinate and execute product marketing and communications programs\nCollaborate with key stakeholders across ePlus to drive successful outcome-based plans and communication\nCoordinate field sales and service training to ensure familiarity with partner solutions and how to position along with ePlus strategy\nBusiness Development\nIdentify strategic and tactical manufacturer goals and key players necessary to achieve and sustain mindshare and thought leadership within the vendor practice community\nEvaluate, initiate, grow, and manage partnership opportunities\nIdentify, evaluate, and execute opportunities to optimize or expand a line of business\nProactively work with ePlus vendor management team in achieving vendor certification targets and audit requirements\nWork with internal IT in providing direction for the adoption of new technologies\nMarket Development\nEvaluate emerging market trends and vendors go to market strategies to accelerate technology adoption\nBuild credibility by establishing ePlus as an authority on the given technology\nExpand sales force awareness of vendor offerings through webinars, seminars, speaking engagements, and other forms of media\nSales Development\nLeverage business skills, industry knowledge, technical skills, and customer service skills to build a high level of credibility as the customer’s trusted business partner\nBuild a strong sense of reliability with partners and co-workers to maximize direct sales leads and team confidence\nEnable teams to up-sell and cross-sell related products to prospective customers\nStaff Development\nIdentify strategic training needs to support current and future business operations\nIdentify employee development goals and build vendor training/development plans\nAs a manager, you are also expected to:\nLead and guide team members, fostering growth through mentoring, coaching, and development, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration.\nPromote an environment of inclusivity and respect, valuing diverse perspectives and encouraging open dialogue among all team members.\nCollaborate on strategic initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and positive change within the organization.\nCultivate a proactive approach to conflict resolution, striving for amicable solutions and escalating concerns as needed\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required\n5+ years of progressive, successful career progression within the IT related industry.\nProven success in high-growth, fast-paced, high-speed environments.\nWorking knowledge of the vendor’s various technology areas (Unified Communications, Virtualization, Data Center, Storage, etc.)\n3+ years of sales or sales management experience within cloud services sector preferred\nExperience in channel partner and program management is a strong plus\nAdvanced degree preferred\nBusiness and Management\nPrevious success managing a profit and loss for a line of business preferred\nPrevious success developing partnerships between different, independent entities\nPrevious success in sales and relationship-building roles\nTechnical\nTechnical working knowledge within area of specialty\nPrevious success in driving IT solution sales with technical decision-makers\nDemonstrated skill at working with multiple players across technical disciplines\nDemonstrated ability to guide teams through vendors’ product strategies\nHolds highest or multiple advanced vendor certifications\nProfessional Competencies\nStrong organization skills, presentation skills and acute attention to detail\nExceptional verbal and written communication skills\nExcellent interpersonal relationship skills\nAbility to adapt and learn new technologies, products, and processes with little notice\nPOSITION SPECIFICS\nThe initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $90,000 and $160,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, our compensation package may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.\n\nePlus offers a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility, employee stock purchase program and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
