With an intimate understanding of our customers’ challenges and deep expertise in existing and emerging technologies, we integrate the best components from our own portfolio and our partner ecosystem to deliver innovative, effective, and efficient solutions.\nWe are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-based data pipelines, ETL processes, and data ingestion frameworks supporting FEMA’s data analytics platforms.\nKey Responsibilities:\nArchitect and optimize complex data ingestion and transformation pipelines.\nLead data modeling, partitioning, and performance tuning.\nEnsure FISMA/FedRAMP-compliant security and data governance.\nSupport analytics, AI/ML teams, and cross-program data initiatives.\nOversee automation, code reviews, and DevSecOps integration.\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nAt least 7+ years of relevant working experience in a similar role.\nDeep experience with distributed computing (Spark, EMR, Databricks).\nAdvanced SQL, Python, cloud data tooling.\nFamiliarity with DHS data governance and security standards.\n\nEducation and Certification Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in a related field.\nAWS/Azure/GCP Data certifications.\nClearance Requirements:\nU.S. Citizenship.\nAbility to obtain Public Trust. Active Public Trust is preferred.
