This role leads and develops complex Mechatronic sales opportunities in Independent Cart, Complex Motion, Unified Robotics, and Emulation and Simulation technologies. They are responsible for driving and supporting new business growth, expanding share within key accounts, and advancing Werner’s industrial commercial strategy through high‑value solution design and customer engagement with current, and emerging Mechatronics solutions.\nEssential Functions Mechatronic Solution Consultant helps meet sales performance goals, strengthen technical and commercial acumen, and deliver consistent customer experience.\nConsult customers to understand and evaluate their existing processes and requirements to identify areas for improvement and innovation utilizing Mechatronic technology.\nLead the Mechatronic solution pursuits for Independent Cart, Complex Motion, Unified Robotics, and Emulate 3D within all Werner territories.\nCollaborate with Sales & Customer Experience teams, Business Consultants, Marketing and Automation Specialists to ensure cohesive engagement strategies and Mechatronic solution delivery.\nProvide comprehensive customer support throughout the customer buying journey by reviewing project specifications, preparing and presenting bills of materials, developing solution proof of concepts, and supporting customer throughout the process.\nParticipate in execution of disciplined sales process and utilization of the customer relationship manager (CRM) tool to log and manage customer targets, opportunities, tasks, and customer engagements.\nStay updated on industry trends/ segments and technological advancements to offer the best mechatronic solutions.\nMaintain technical competency on the full breadth of solutions and services available from Werner and external partners while focused on mechatronics technology.\nAnalyze competitive solutions, understand competitor strategies, highlight differentiators to customers and internal partners.\nParticipate in account planning and sales strategy development for Mechatronics.\nParticipate in organizational commercial plan and marketing strategies for Mechatronics.\nHighlight the Innovation Center's technology, solutions, and services to position the organization as an industry leader.\nParticipate in relevant trade shows and events.\nRequired Qualifications Bachler’s degree in Automation, Engineering, Mechatronics, Sales & Marketing or other related field; AND\n5 years of relevant experience is required.\n7-10 years of related experience required in lieu of a degree.\nExperience with customer engagement and providing tailored solutions.\nPrior experience delivering presentations and demonstrations.\nAbility tostay updated with industry trends and technological advancements.\nPrior experience with Mechatronic solutions\nMust have and maintain a valid driver’s license.\nAbility to travel regularly through Werner territories.
