If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.\n\nJoin us and become part of the power behind possible.\n\nAbout The Opportunity\nResponsible for all activities in the production area including personnel, materials, machines, incoming products or services, outbound shipments of products or services and compliance with all Federal and State regulations governing the facility, its employees, and the like.\n\nResponsibilities And Duties\n\nStaffs, trains, develops and enforces company policy and procedures for all production employees on all shifts.\n\nInsures accurate two-way communication by attending or holding meetings, issuing memorandum that enhance the production activity.\n\nInsures the execution of production schedules according to President/General Manager or Corporate policy and procedure.\n\nRegularly confers with President/General Manager keeping him informed of all activity, seeking advice and direction and instruction as deemed necessary and appropriate.\n\nWillingly participates with all departments and activities as needed, requested or expected.\n\nMaintain an inventory system which is easy to use and efficient to insure minimal scrap, storage, and required production can be met.\n\nProvide all data and documentation required by other areas in the execution of their duties as related to the production activity.\n\nContinually strive to develop better ways and means of enhancing the production, assembly and secondary processes geared toward profitability and efficiency.\n\nPresent a professional image to all contacts, internal and external.\n\nDevelop and maintain the highest levels of employee morale.\n\nProvide safety training and equipment to personnel ensuring a safe production area.\n\nWorks cooperatively with professionalism with all engineering personnel ensuring maximum product quality is achieved according to company and customer requirements.\n\nPerforms miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as directed.\n\nEmpowerment to take responsibility for the quality of work performed.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities as assigned may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning; assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.\n\nSupervises all manufacturing personnel except Tooling and Maintenance.\n\nQuality Requirements\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.\n\nMathematical Skills\nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.\n\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\n\nPhysical Attributes\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.\n\nThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
