The product is scaling quickly with enterprise adoption, and we’re doubling headcount this year. As a Founding Engineer, you’ll own major chunks of architecture, performance, and product direction—shipping fast, talking to customers, and shaping what the platform becomes.\nThis is a true 0 1/1 n role for someone who loves full-stack work, thrives in ambiguous environments, and wants outsized ownership and impact.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild and ship end-to-end features across React/Next.js (frontend) and Node.js/NestJS (backend).\nDesign reliable data models and services using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.\nIntegrate backend services with Python FastAPI endpoints that power ML workflows.\nDrive architectural decisions to improve performance, scalability, and developer velocity.\nContribute to AWS infrastructure, deployment strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.\nCollaborate directly with founders and early customers; scope and deliver customer-facing projects.\nMaintain high code quality through reviews, testing, and clear documentation.\nGather early user feedback and iterate quickly.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n3–7 years of professional software engineering experience.\nStrong TypeScript/JavaScript across the full stack.\nProficiency with React/Next.js and Node.js/NestJS.\nComfort owning projects end-to-end in a fast-paced startup environment.\nExcellent communication; able to work directly with customers and stakeholders.\nOnsite requirement: role based in San Francisco.\nNice to Have\nExperience with Python (FastAPI) for ML integrations.\nAWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD experience.\nBackground in sales tech, AI, or B2B SaaS.\nEarly-stage/founding engineer experience and/or meaningful side projects.\nWhy This Role\nFounding-level ownership and impact during a period of rapid growth.\nHigh velocity team culture with clear product-market pull.\nOpportunity to help define the engineering org and best practices as we scale.\nLearn a ton, fast—across product, customers, systems design, and team building.\nBy applying for this job you consent to Hire with Jarvis to hold personal data and we may use this to contact you, either through SMS or email.
