Acts in a manner consistent with the State’s professional practice act for occupational therapy as well as with OMC’s policies and procedures. Organizes and conducts medically prescribed programs to restore function, prevent disability and help patients reach their maximum performance. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and is able to assess data reflective of the patient’s status. Interprets the patient data in order to develop a treatment plan and provide the care needed.EDUCATIONBachelor’s degree from a program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association or equivalent required.
