(5001)\n\nDiscover your exciting role\nThe Tool Install Lead Structural Engineer is responsible for working with a tool install design team on projects, developing structural engineering solutions for tool pedestals, seismic anchorage, fall protection, finite element modelling, and vibration analysis.\nExplore your tasks and responsibilities\nWorks with or leads a team of engineers and/or designers to create and document designs fulfilling the project design scope consistent with industry-accepted practice as well as client-preferred standards, with minimal supervision.\nDevelops tool install designs from Concept Phase through Construction Documents.\nResponsible for quality control and approval of concepts, basis of design, equipment plans, details, specifications, cost, and schedule for all Structural aspects to meet the project requirements\nMonitors team progress to ensure design team is on track\nContributes to the Tool Install Knowledge Center via documenting lessons learned, completing Continuous Improvement Plan assignments, and use of information developed by others in process discipline\nSupports project on-site execution and make decisions to support projects and act as technical consultant\nSupports the Project Design Manager and Construction Manager with Fee Development Guide, change orders, quality assurance, scheduling, progress report outs, interdisciplinary coordination, and other responsibilities as agreed to by the project lead and/or Discipline Director\nWorks as a Task Force Lead coordinating with Regional System Experts and project leads to identify and develop system specific standard tools (drawings, specifications, checklists, calculators) for lean project execution, promoting project to project repeatability and consistency across ATF segments\nMentors and trains junior staff\nDevelops manpower and labor cost requirements for a project and monitor them to aid in evaluating project schedule and budget\nProvides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff’s specific area of expertise\nDevelops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by discipline team\nDevelops conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include calculations related to sizing and selecting of these systems, general arrangements and sequences of operation associated with these systems\nCoordinates with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices\nCoordinates with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring other disciplines’ inputs are incorporated\nOther duties as assigned\nShow your expertise\nMinimum Required\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field required\nMaster’s degree preferred\nProfessional Engineer (PE) License or Structural Engineering (SE) License required\n8+ years of experience\nExperience in leading teams and workgroups, small to medium projects\nPreferred\nNation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record preferred\nPrior experience with advanced technology\nPrior experience in consulting engineering\nExperience with structural analysis software such as RAM, STAAD, Tedds, and Enercalc\nExperience working within a team environment\nExperience in the quality control review process\nExperience contributing to continuous improvement processes\nSkills & Knowledge\nDetailed understanding of all core Structural Systems used in ATF projects\nDetailed knowledge and understanding of industry codes and standards applicable for their structural design and specifications\nDetailed understating of Lean execution principles for design of projects\nGood time management skills, strong work ethic and attention to details\nGood verbal and written communication skills\nMust be a strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships with individuals, department leads, and client representatives\nAbility to train team on lean principles needed to design and manage project\nEnergetic and self-motivated\nAbility to mentor and train junior staff\nAbility build and maintain positive and productive working relationships both internal and external\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.\n\nNon-Solicitation: We are not currently accepting third-party agency candidates for this position.
