Make an impact by providing services that help the government ensure the well being and support of U.S. citizens.\nJob Description\nGDIT has an opportunity for a dynamic and collaborative candidate to join our team supporting the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AOUSC) Case Management Systems Office (CMSO) in Washington, DC. The CMSO has a mature Agile practice using the SAFe framework.\nGDIT provides full software development lifecycle support for a variety of highly complex business critical systems, including COTS and customized solutions. Our support includes program and project management, business requirements analysis, solutions architecture, and software engineering within the AO to deliver systems for the Case Management and Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) Portfolio, the Probation and Pretrial Services (PPS) Portfolio, and the National Applications Portfolio. The systems support service officers, judges, and other stakeholders with the automated functionality needed to perform the administration of justice and court services to the United States Courts across the nation.\nResponsibilities:\nOrganize and facilitate SCRUM ceremonies: daily standups, Sprint Planning/Grooming, Sprint Reviews/Demos, and Retrospectives\nMaintain JIRA and other information radiators for the teams\nMentor and coach team members on core Agile values, principles, practices, and processes\nEnable team to become self-organizing and self-managing to achieve its goals\nWork with the Product Management team to develop release plans and ensure product backlogs are well-groomed, prioritized and visible to all stakeholders\nMotivate teams to perform and ensure team members are collectively responsible for all aspects of the committed work (analysis, development, testing, documentation, etc.)\nIdentify, address, and communicate project risks, dependencies, and team impediments\nEnsure the team’s “definition of done” is well defined on the story, sprint, and release levels\nFacilitate productivity through discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution\nShield the team from external interferences\nAssist with internal and external communication, and improving transparency\nBuild a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on problem solving\nAssess the Scrum maturity of the team and coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team\nCoach a continuous improvement mindset and recommend adjustments to established delivery practices\nParticipate in Scrum of Scrum meetings to ensure cross-team collaboration and coordination of release plans and integration of testing activities\nEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including customers\nRequired Qualifications and Competencies:\nBachelor’s degree plus at least five years (5+) of experience in Agile development environment.\nExperience with using and implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).\nAbility to manage multiple projects and work rapidly in a high tempo environment that often requires multitasking.\nExperience with software development or working in software development organization.\nAbility to create, sustain, and enhance fostering of team dynamics and collaboration.\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Scrum Master (PMI-ACP).\nProject Management Professional Certification (PMP).\nEnergetic, goal oriented, proactive, innovative, hardworking, and patient.\nWork Requirements\nYears of Experience\n5 + years of related experience\nmay vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree\nCertification\nProject Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Insitute - Project Management Insitute\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM) - Scrum Alliance - Scrum Alliance\nTravel Required\nNone\nSalary and Benefit Information\nThe likely salary range for this position is $96,569 - $130,651.
