Job Description Commercial HVAC TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our Facilities team. This position is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting directly to the Director of Facility Maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systemsDiagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration unitsTroubleshoot system issues and implement effective solutions in a timely mannerInspect equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiencyMaintain accurate service records and documentation of work performedRespond to emergency service calls as part of an on-call rotationUtilize industry-standard tools, equipment, and diagnostic devicesCollaborate with team members and communicate effectively with leadershipPosition RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in a commercial HVAC environmentEPA Section 608 Universal Certification requiredExperience with Controls/BAS systems preferredStrong working knowledge of HVAC tools and equipmentValid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving recordPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds regularlyAbility to operate power xmcpwfu tools such as drills, saws, and other equipmentAbility to bend, climb, and work in confined spacesComfortable working in environments with heat, cold, moisture, noise, and light chemical exposureWork ScheduleFull-time positionParticipation in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance servicesWhat We OfferA mission-driven, faith-based work environment focused on personal and professional growthComprehensive benefits package for eligible employees and their families
