Their excellent technical skillsaccompanied by their role as employee-ownershas become our legacy.\r\nPosition Summary:\r\nOur Advanced Machine Operators run equipment such as millers, lathes, grinders, or drill presses for non-routine or routine core part machining and salvage. They operate either manual machining equipment or CNC controlled equipment to produce production parts to required tolerances for preparation for the assembly process.\r\nThis is a 1st shift position working 5am to 3:30pm Monday-Thursday with mandatory overtime on Fridays and Saturdays as needed\r\nPrimary responsibilities include:\r\nPerforms routine production duties by following written processes to operate machinery such as: mills, lathes, grinders, seat/guide/stud presses, induction heat treating equipment, drill presses, CMM, specialized gauging equipment for seat and guides and operate an assembly line to specific tolerances in required quantities\r\nResponsible for the visual and quantifiable inspection of the final result of their process.\r\nFrom experience, resolves basic production and machine operating problems, performs equipment set up and may perform minor operating modification to equipment as needed.\r\nFollows all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding and maintains a safe working environment by following company safety policies.\r\nAssists in other production areas as needed\r\nEligibility:\r\nAs an employee-owner, you must have a teammate mentality and strong interpersonal skills. An employee-owner is proactive, upholds commitments and is continually learning.\r\nEssential Qualifications\r\nPrior experience operating close tolerance machines such as; lathes, drills, grinders, etc.\r\nAbility to perform basic math; add and subtract numbers.\r\nAbility to use hand, air, and power tools.\r\nRequires effective relationship management skills with co-workers in a team environment.\r\nBasic computer literacy required.
