Shop Technician

Shop Technician Spartan Staffing Solutions has partnered with a leader in AG industry. Together we are in search of a Shop Technician to join their team in Johnson City KS.Essential Duties:Analyze, troubleshoot and perform electrical and mechanical repairs on agricultural equipment.Perform diagnosis and plan effective and efficient repairs of machinery.Prepare all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.Follow production schedules and requirements for completion of assignments.Participate in Service Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.Maintain vehicles, tools and equipment in good condition and working order.Maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion.Comply with all safety rules and regulations. Follow safety precautions while operating vehicles, machinery and equipment.Provide professional and courteous service and present a positive and professional image of the company.Perform other service tasks as directed by the Service Manager or Service Department Foreman.Qualifications:Three to five years' experience in maintenance and repair of agricultural equipment.Technician experience or Certificate of completion from a mechanical or industrial arts training, vocational school, or equivalent experience preferred.Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.Experience in the use of diagnostic equipment.Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.Computer skills.Good written and oral communication skills.Set of tools to perform equipment repairs and maintenance.Valid drivers license and clean driving record is required.Compensation:Competitive salaryHealth InsuranceDental and Vision CoveragePaid vacation/Time Off401k
