Starting rate including shift differential is currently $24.73 per hour.\r\nEssential duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned:\r\nPerforms a combination of the following duties to move material within plant and warehouse operations to keep packaging lines running:\r\nUnloads trucks using a forklift and receives raw material shipments from suppliers into our MFG/PRO inventory, and puts away in the AS-RS system using the AIM warehouse management system.\r\nGenerates and applies bar code labels to raw material and finished product pallets and puts away in the AS-RS system.\r\nReviews work orders to determine the products to be run during the day and the related materials necessary.\r\nChecks supplies and stocks production lines with products and packaging materials as required at the beginning of each shift to allow production lines to run.\r\nRestocks production lines throughout the day as necessary.\r\nRemoves finished product from production lines and transports to appropriate location in warehouse for storage and/or shipment.\r\nRemoves trash from packaging line and transports to dumpster.\r\nOperates shrink wrap machine.\r\nMaintains inventory and log of materials and products on hand, used and checked by Quality Control.\r\nLoads finished goods pallets onto trucks using forklifts to fulfill customer shipments.\r\nContacts main warehouse to order additional materials and products as needed, and pulls materials for production or shipment via AIM warehouse management system.\r\nPerforms computer transactions in MFG/PRO via computer terminal or RF equipment.\r\nProducts packaged include vitamins and pharmaceuticals.\r\nPackaging materials include corrugated paper, paperboard, foil, and vinyl.\r\nMost material and products are palletized and transported by hand or electric powered pallet jack.\r\nMay use forklift to remove pallets of material from racks, floor locations, or AS-RS system.\r\nMay use other material handling equipment such as wheeled carts, wheeled bins, and handcarts.\r\nMay restock pallet loads that have fallen.\r\nMay secure finished product to pallet, using strapping to shrink wrap to prevent damage during shipping.\r\nReads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.\r\nOpens containers.\r\nConveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.\r\nAttaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases or other containers.\r\nStacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.\r\nSupervisory responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.\r\nQualifications:\r\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
