To Apply for this Job Click Here Our Dublin, Ohio client has a contract to hire opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer.General Responsibilities:The Network IOT Team implements and supports client's security initiative for IOT and OT devices at the various client facilities.This includes deploying WAN and SDWAN solutions, deploying, modifying, and supporting routers, switching gear, servers, firewalls and cabling.SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Configures and implements end to end network infrastructure solutions including routers, switches, wireless AP's and controllers. Assumes the lead role for individual deployments within a larger project and executes per established guidelines. Collaborates with other technology teams to achieve the project objectives. Provides post-deployment support and troubleshoots issues as they arise during or after deployments. Analyzes network traffic including infrastructure performance to ensure high quality connectivity. Creates detailed and accurate documentation in support of the implementations. Participates in the development policies and procedures to achieve team and project goals. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Demonstrates thorough understanding of networking concepts and systems including routing, switching, wireless networking and SDWAN.Hands-on experience with configuring and supporting Cisco Nexus switching, Aruba switching, Aruba wireless networking and Palo Alto Prisma SDWAN is required.Competent in command line configurations.Understands security concepts like role-based access, SASE, ZTNA or network segmentation.Ability to utilize monitoring tools to analyze network consumption at sites.Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make independent decisions.Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.Demonstrated innovative and strategic thinking required, as well as a track record of success implementing tactical solutions that result in measurable business benefits.Scripting skills, like python, is a plus.Must have strong oral (English)communication and writing skills, including formal presentations utilizing PowerPoint and Visio.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Minimum 8 years network experience required, 3+ years preferred in supporting enterprise environments.Cisco or Aruba certifications (CCDA, CCNP, etc.) are preferred.Minimal travel is required.Certifications & Licenses:CCNA Proficiency in Aruba and Cisco Layer 3 switches and wireless solutions.
