20437-1 Components Engineer Level 2, Arlington, TX (Secret Clearance)DESCRIPTIONPSCI is seeking a Component Engineer to ensure the quality of the components on complex weapon's systems that help ensure our nation's defense.In this critical role, you would lend your expertise in support of the LTIAMD and PAC-3 programs with emphasis on electrical component specifications, military standards and performance specification for Electrical, Electronic and Electro-Mechanical (EEE) components.The position is responsible for ensuring the quality of products transitioning from development to production through evaluation of design assurance activities and implementation of production process methodology to prevent impacts to production velocity and quality.Candidate needs to have a thorough knowledge and understanding of manufacturing quality requirements and be able to evaluate the application of those requirements toward transitioning product develop plans and solutions to obstacles that may impact successful transition at the component, sub-assembly and final assembly levels.Employee will telework Expected to be in office Tuesday - ThursdayMANDATORYMust be US CitizenBS degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience / combined education in this fieldExperience in electrical component failure analysisDemonstrated problem solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action PlanningExperience in microelectronics fabrication and test or equivalent experienceAble to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods to turn materials into productsAbility to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes, and related performance metricsAbility to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product / performance specifications and other systems integration technical dataAbility to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complexEffective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaborationProficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications including AccessEffective communication skills - written, oral, listening, presentation and technical writingAbility to work independently with minimal direct supervision in a fast- paced environmentDESIREDFamiliar with Military Standards 202, 883 and 750Familiar with MIL-PRF 38534, 38535, 19500 and 55342Familiar with Components such as ICs, Discrete Semiconductors, Resistor, Capacitor, Inductor, PWB, PWB Assembly ProcessingDemonstrated basic understanding of audit techniquesLean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)Advanced AS9100 Interpretation/application skillsExperience with Product Development Process (PDP) Material Review Board (MRB) experience Machine shop or electronics manufacturing inspection experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
