You will provide hands-on technical support, ensure devices are properly configured and maintained, manage asset inventory, and deliver excellent end-user support in a dynamic, multi-company environment. This role combines technical troubleshooting, asset management, and user support to keep our teams productive and our technology running smoothly.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\n\nManage the full lifecycle of IS/IT assets, including configuration, change management, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and accessories.\nProvide timely technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues on Windows-based devices and Microsoft 365 environments.\nTrack and maintain accurate inventory of all network-connected devices, including user assignments, device health, age, software versioning, lease agreements, and service contracts.\nProcure and administer hardware, software licenses, subscriptions, and mobile devices while ensuring compliance with company standards.\nSupport the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop applications, Microsoft Office, and corporate software in networked environments.\nAssist with mobile device management (iOS and Android) and company-required applications.\nServe as a point of contact for service desk communications, monitoring and following up on tickets handled internally or by managed service providers.\nSupport small to large user deployments, including new acquisitions, hardware rollouts, software upgrades, and user account setup.\nDocument processes, maintain asset records, and contribute to continuous improvement of desktop support and asset management practices.\nCollaborate with the broader IT team, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues and improve end-user experience.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\n\nNone (individual contributor role with occasional guidance to junior IT staff or end users).\n\nRequirements/Qualifications\n\nExperience: 3–6 years of hands-on desktop support, IT asset management, or technical support experience in a corporate or multi-site environment.\nEducation: High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.\nPhysical Demands: Primarily office-based with occasional travel for site support or deployments; ability to lift and move computer equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed.\nWork Environment/Safety: Professional office setting adherence to corporate safety standards.\n\nRequired Skills\n\nStrong technical knowledge of Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11), Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory/Azure AD environments.\nExperience with hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and basic networking support.\nProficiency with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Group Policy, and mobile device management tools.\nExcellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nSelf-motivated with a positive attitude and adaptability to changing demands.\n\nModigent Overview\n\nModigent is a national leader delivering next-generation infrastructure, technology, and energy solutions through our family of specialized brands in HVAC, plumbing, and controls systems.
