Senior Cognos Developer

Technical Roles and responsibilities :- Responsible for design, development, testing of Cognos Framework models reports and dashboards. Working with Cross Functional Teams Including Business analysts, Project Managers, DBA and Business Stakeholders to deliver a high Quality End to End solution. Debug and help resolve any related issues in the system and help business analysts and client understand it. Ensure high quality and performance in the architecture results in delivering solutions to our clients. Interfacing with user to determine scope, business objectives and system requirements. Ability to integrate ideas and concepts into architectural designs for complex client solutions. Document the proposed solution which includes a definition of the user interfaces, functional processes, and data within the proposed system. Proven skills in Weblogic Application Server, PL/SQL Developer, and Unix. Design financial reports using Report Studio and Jasper iReports. May be required to relocate residence upon completion of each long term project. Requires: Must have Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related + (3) years of progressive experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related + (5) years of experience.
