You’ll be part of a team that is building real solutions, solving real problems, and making a measurable impact across industries.What You’ll DoDrive New Product DevelopmentLead new equipment and automation programs from concept through commercializationDefine product requirements, technical solutions, and development plansGuide projects through Stage-Gate processes with clear milestones and deliverablesOwn Program ExecutionManage multiple product development programs simultaneouslyDrive timelines, budgets, and performance targetsIdentify risks early and lead mitigation strategiesLead Cross-Functional TeamsPartner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teamsInfluence without direct authority to keep programs moving forwardProvide clear updates to senior leadershipShape Product StrategyPartner with Sales and Applications teams to identify market opportunitiesTranslate customer needs into scalable product solutionsContribute to the division’s product roadmap and innovation pipelineProvide Technical LeadershipSupport engineering design, prototyping, and validation effortsEnsure compliance with applicable standards (NFPA, CE, ISO)Promote best practices across divisions to accelerate innovationWhat Success Looks LikeNew products launched on time and aligned to business goalsStrong collaboration across engineering, operations, and commercial teamsDelivery against cost, performance, and margin targetsWhat You BringEducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field requiredMaster’s degree preferredExperience10+ years in automation, machine design, or capital equipment developmentProven success launching commercial equipment productsStrong experience leading cross-functional product development programsExperience with structured development processes (Stage-Gate, design controls)Technical & Leadership SkillsStrong program and project management capabilityExperience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)Knowledge of PLCs, robotics, motion control, or machine vision preferredAbility to influence, lead, and drive results across teamsWork Environment & TravelCombination of office and manufacturing/shop environmentExposure to typical industrial conditions including moving equipment and electrical systemsUp to 50% travel (domestic and international)Compensation & BenefitsMMT offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus opportunity, and a full range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.Medical Manufacturing Technologies (MMT) is an equal opportunity employer.
