Visit our career site on the web at https://www.logistics.dhl/us-en/home/careers.htmlKey ResponsibilitiesExecute orders by confirming arrival times, coordinating with carriers, inputting data, and dispatching recoveries.Build relationships by responding timely to customer communications via email, fax and mailWork with air and ground transportation partners to handle import shipmentsReceive and track airfreight import consols through arrival into final destination. Retrieve shipment details, handle all documentation for cargo release and data entry for each shipmentAnswer all customer inquiries in accordance with the Customer Service Policy standardsFurther increase customer satisfaction and business share through proactive and regular contact and data input Communicate with and ensure release of the freight from air carriersPerform billing to internal customers and/or other officesSetup and coordinate direct deliveries to the customerHandle and manage all operational issues at file level regarding exceptionsAdditional projects as directedSkills / Requirements:1+ years of experience in freight forwarding industry, air import experience preferredCargo Wise systems knowledge is a plusExceptional customer service skillsDetail oriented and strong follow-up skillsProficient with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Pay Range: $21.32 - $28.43/hr.
