At the core of this technology is an innovative air-generation architecture, combining hardware and machine learning (ML) algorithms, integrated into communication networks. We are looking for an Application Engineer to join our small, highly cross-functional team, where your primary responsibility will be the power and communication modules.\nResponsibilities:\nElectronic System Design\n· Define system requirements for the driver electronics for the ActaJet actuator, including, block diagram, requirements spec, critical part selection etc.\n· Define driver functionality for key hardware components and interfaces, like CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI communications, ADC/DAC controls, PWM generation, etc.\n· Lead collaboration with fabless ASIC companies to develop integrated driver chip, including spec and test review.\nTechnical Liaison to customer\n· Collaborate with customer technical teams to support electrical interface and integration needs at the driver system, hardware, and firmware levels.\n· Relay information from customer applications to our development teams for ongoing maintenance activities and future feature definition.\n· Prepare technical documentation for customers, including system descriptions and application notes.\n· Coordinate with testing service providers to perform compliance testing per application requirements.\nQualifications/ Skills/ Experience:\n· Proven work experience as an Application Engineer or similar role.\n· 2-4 years of industry experience.\n· Firmware design for real-time systems (C/Assembly coding, MPlab, Bare-Metal or RTOS designs).\n· Experience with system design (MCU circuitry, analog/mixed signal circuitry, driver circuitry etc.)\n· Experience with function safety system assessment according to ISO 26262.\n· Experience with data acquisition / experiment setup hardware and software\nPreferred:\n· Experience in circuit and PCB optimization to improve EMI/EMC behavior of switched drivers.\n· Experience with electronic hardware design in the automotive industry.\n· Experience with thermal management applications.\n· Proficiency in Python for automation, GUI development, and data processing.\nActasys provides the opportunity to work on advanced, cutting-edge technology and product development, shaping innovations across major industries.
