This ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and experience using inspection equipment.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nRead and follow instructions on job traveler.\nRead and understand customer purchase orders.\nLocate specifications and inspection procedures in the company's computer system.\nWrite nonconformance reports and document change forms as required.\nEvaluate jobs on Quality Control (QC) hold for compliance.\nVerify inspection equipment calibration dates to ensure accuracy.\nPerform inspection tests as required.\nAdheres to safety regulations.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:\nKnowledge of inspection equipment such as micrometers, intermicrometers, calipers, dail bore gauges, dual-a-scope, permascope, and positector\nAbility to interpret blueprints and technical sketches.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills for customer and internal interactions.\nLogical reasoning and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently and as a part of a team.\n\nITAR REQUIREMENT:\nDue to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).\n\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nMust be in good physical condition, alert, and well-rested.\nAbility to walk between buildings and departments with varying elevations.\nAbility to stand for periods of 30 minutes or more.\nAbility to stoop, bend, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.\n\nWe are an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
