Spun off from Open Zeppelin in 2021, Forta has top tier backers such as a16z, Blockchain Capital, and Coinbase Ventures, and is securing some of the top projects in crypto.\r\nWhat you'll be doing In this role, you will play an essential part in building new components, communicating with our users to gather feedback, and working collaboratively with the rest of the team to make sure we solve important problems and provide a great user experience.\r\nSpecifically, you will:\r\nLead critical projects end-to-end: design docs, implementation in Go/Solidity, reviews, rollouts, and post-mortems.\r\nBuild sequencer-adjacent services: screening APIs, proxies, attestations, and chain integrations (OP Stack/Arbitrum).\r\nDeep dive on performance: profiling, load tests, flamegraphs, cache/queue tuning, and data-path optimizations.\r\nSecurity first: threat modeling, key/secret management, IAM, least-privilege, audit/readiness practices.\r\nOperational excellence: on-call participation, incident response, blameless retros, runbooks.\r\nMentor & multiply: guide teammates through designs, reviews, testing standards, and best practices.\r\nEcosystem awareness: track EVM/OP/Arbitrum changes, block building patterns, and bring actionable insights.\r\nYou should apply if you have 5+ years of experience in software development.\r\nKnowledgeable about Ethereum and EVM\r\nExperience with Go and Solidity.\r\nExperience with AWS services such as Cloudwatch, DynamoDB, ECS.\r\nExperience with Docker, ECS and Terraform\r\nExperience with OP Stack and Arbitrum works is preferred\r\nDesire to work with Rust.\r\nStrong desire to further your education about Ethereum and contribute to the blockchain space.\r\nPrior experience working remotely: strong personal organizational skills, a love for self-time management, and ability to work collaboratively with a team.\r\nAdvanced English communication skills — all of our internal and external communication is in English.\r\nBonus if Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field\r\nBenefits Medical Insurance: Top quality insurance options for you.\r\nPaid leave for new parents.\r\nTeam Events: Company retreats in different locations around the world.\r\nAt Forta, we are an equal opportunity employer and we value different perspectives.
