Our services enable our clients to define their information strategy, enable mission critical insights and data-driven decision making, reduce cost and complexity, increase trust, and improve budget justifications and decision-making. This individual will support organizational and mission goals within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). This role requires hands on technical expertise and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\nDesign and development of data visualization and dashboard solutions to provide required analytics insights using Power BI\n\nLeading and reviewing, data cleaning scripts using tools such as Python\n\nMaintain and enhance dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools used in operational and strategic decision-making\n\nBalance competing priorities including to supporting quick turn and ad hoc requests\n\nFocus on client services, while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development\n\nSupport business development (such as RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers), internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development\n\nWhat You Will Need:\n\nAbility to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust\n\nBachelors Degree\n\nFIVE (5) or more years of experience in data analytics, data science, business analytics or data engineering\n\nWhat Would Be Nice to Have:\n\nStrong communication and presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences\n\nExperience working with financial and budget data\n\nStrong UI/UX capabilities for dashboard development\n\nFamiliarity with PowerApps\n\nFamiliarity with cloud-based analytics environments (such as, Databricks, Palantir, AWS, Azure, or Google)\n\nExperience performing analytics and data transformation using Python and R\n\nAbility to gather requirements and present to clients with strong written and verbal communication skills\n\nKnowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integration\n\nExperience with budget, financial management, and workload modeling\n\nThe annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00.
