Supply Specialist
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Supply Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing shipping and receiving processes, and facilitating purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and ensure optimal stock levels.
Monitor inventory turnover and recommend adjustments to stock levels as needed.
Shipping and Receiving:
Coordinate shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, addressing discrepancies as needed.
Purchasing:
Process purchase orders (POs) and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of goods.
Research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and assess product quality.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive records of inventory transactions, shipping and receiving activities, and purchasing agreements.
Generate reports on inventory levels, order status, and supply chain performance for management review.
Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, production, and finance, to align supply chain operations with business goals.
Assist in training and supporting team members in supply chain processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
