You will be expected to independently manage machine setups, refine programs, verify part quality, and resolve technical challenges with minimal oversight.\n\nCore Duties\nExecute setups and operation of CNC lathe and mill equipment\nDevelop and modify programs utilizing Mazatrol and Fanuc interfaces\nAnalyze technical drawings, blueprints, and production documentation\nDetermine and mount the appropriate fixtures, tooling, and workholding devices\nConfigure necessary work coordinates and tool offsets\nConduct initial inspections to ensure quality and perform machine refinements\nUtilize precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges\nOversee machine output to rectify quality or dimensional discrepancies\nVerify finished components against strict tolerance requirements\nKeep precise documentation regarding production and quality checks\nContribute to a safer workplace by adhering to all quality and maintenance standards\nSupport the team by performing manual machining tasks as required\nEssential Qualifications\nBackground in CNC machining involving lathe or mill equipment\nPractical expertise in programming via Fanuc systems\nPractical expertise in programming via Mazatrol systems\nCapacity to perform independent machine setups\nProficiency in generating and adjusting CNC code directly at the machine\nAdvanced ability to interpret complex blueprints\nCompetence in utilizing various precision measurement tools\nComprehensive knowledge of feeds, speeds, tolerances, and tooling\nStrong problem-solving skills to address quality and machining issues\nConsistent attendance and dependable transit to the Danville area\nDesired Background\nOperational proficiency with both CNC lathe and mill machinery\nPrior work with manual lathes or mills\nBackground in producing components with tight tolerances\nKnowledge of in-process quality monitoring and initial part inspection\nHistory of working within precision, custom, or production machining settings\nKey Requirement\n\nIt is mandatory that applicants possess direct programming experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls.
